Got the water pump replaced but snapped the tension pulley like a twig. It just came the fuck off. So Kyle and I go searching and for $100 or so we found the part we need. And we lucked out, because it was the only one left in Indy. Neither one of us knew what the fuck we were doing, so all the shit is sitting in my trunk. And we'll be going out there tomorrow with the guy who sells me weed. Because aside from being an entrepreneur, he also knows a lot about cars.

So I'll let you know what's going on and if I have my car back by tomorrow.

Vehicular Automobile

So today Kyle, one of the hosts for BoAC, and I went out to fix my car. We were able to get all the bolts off of the water pump but reached a problem when it came to removing it. The tensioner was in the way of the pump and we weren't sure as to how to remove it and we lost daylight. So I'm staying the night here and going out early tomorrow to fix it. Hopefully I'll be driving back home in my own car tomorrow. Wish me luck and stuff.

I wish I knew what was going on

Here's a new post coming at you. Your blogger is at the helm but he's sidetracked. He's dissapointed and depressed.

He's had no intentions of doing this post in the third person, but that's just what's happening. And as someone who's trying to make a profession out of his writing, he's learned to just go with it.

He's been seeing Kristi all this time since he made that blog post about her a couple of months ago. Things were amazing. But now it feels like she doesn't have time for him. He knows that because of her job she's got a very demanding work schedule but she could still try to make time. With his car broken he has nothing better to do but sit at home all day. He stays signed into Yahoo! Messenger and AIM visible only to her most times so that if she signs on they can talk. But they don't talk on messenger much anymore. And she barely ever calls him. She has both of his numbers and knows how to get in touch with him. He just wishes she'd call more, or something.

He got out of a relationship in November with a woman who barely paid attention to him, even when he was in the same room as her. He doesn't react well to this kind of neglect, whether it's unintentional or not.

He's absolutely crazy about Kristi, she's the best thing he's got going for him in his fucked up little life right now. If he could get anything out of life, anything at all, it would be to spend his with her. Their attempts to make a trip and be together for a week or two has failed on both attempts and this lack of communication just fucking hurts. It physically hurts him. Last night all he wanted to do was curl up into a ball and cry. Luckily he got to talk to her for a few minutes on AIM while she was at work and that made him feel better and sleep easier.

She said she would call him today after church before she went to a party, and it turns out that she doesn't even have her phone today. He doesn't know what's going on right now. He wishes someone would clue him in, he wishes that she'd pay more attention to him.

He can't function like this, and he doesn't know if all of this is unintentional, or just a series of events horridly tainted by lots of bad luck. Or if she doesn't take this as serious as he does.

He wishes he had some answers. He would say he demanded answers, but he's far too upset to be angry right now. He thinks he might lay down for a while, all of this emotion is making his shoulders scream with pain.

/bitchy emo blog post

Generic Blog Title

I'm about to go into a food coma so I'll see how long it takes me to "do the rounds" and update my blogs. I don't update this blog as often as I should, and I've had it A LOT longer than any of my other blogs. You should check out my personal Wordpress blog I update that on a semi regular basis. I'd subscribe to the feed if I were you, it's rather nifty.

I would tell you what's up with BOaC but you can just go to the show blog for that. The link is sitting around on one of these posts somewhere, I'm sure you're skilled enough to find it.

So I went to go check on my application at Wal-Mart. I had to sit around for twenty minutes before someone from HR came out to tell me that something came back on my app that said "DO NOT HIRE". So the answer to "Can I have a job?" wasn't just "no" it was "FUCK NO!!".

I got a job interview with Werner Trucking. But on the way back home my car broke down. So it's stuck in Indianapolis right now and I won't have the parts until at least Monday or Tuesday.

That, and the job I want requires training. This costs $150 for a drug test, a background check, and enrollment. I could ask my dad for the money but he's spent a FUCKING MOUNTAIN of money on the server he built me for my birthday, as well as the parts to fix my car. So I'm going to have to figure out a way to come up with the money myself or wait a while to ask him.

I feel that I did very well in the interview so I'm hoping that it'll be ok if I wait a few weeks.

That's about all I can think of to cover in regards to what's going on with me. So I'll keep you updated on what's up with my car. And you can bet your ass that I'm going to be bragging about my server when it gets here on Tuesday.
Littering and. . . . . .

No, I can assure you that I'm most certainly not dead. When Diane left, she took the laptop with her. I had my dad ship me a desktop after she left and I got it all set up. And everything was running good. Then I install new RAM and a second hard drive to it and it melts down when I get ready to import all of my Firefox settings.

And now I've got the computer up and running again, doing relatively everything its supposed to be doing. I thought I'd take to day to update all of my blogs and import my Firefox settings, and maybe make a new twitter account.

Not a lot is going on with me right now. I'm not sure what I posted about on my last blog so I'm just going to go with what I think should be covered.

At the start of the year I got a job at the Sonic Drive-In that they built in town. I'm working there now, it's OK. Not entirely satisfied with my hours I'm getting, but I just heard that Walmart is looking to hire seventy people and hopefully I can be one of them.

I made two really good new friends. We decided to form our own crew. Don't make us kill you.

A few days ago I started talking to Kristi again. For all of you who've known me for long enough should remember who she is.

If you don't know I will take this time to provide you with a back story.

In the summer between my freshman and sophomore year of high school I was preparing to spend my tenth grade year at the Camden Military Academy of South Carolina. During that summer I met Kristi online. I'm fairly certain it was through an early social networking site called The Dilly. The site is still up today, but I was on it back in the day, when it was less . . .lame.

We dated while I was at Camden and I got to see her over a couple of the leaves throughout the course of the school year. One of the times I was visiting her, the man that eventually became her step father dissaproved of me. And when I got back to Camden I found a "Dear John" letter waiting for me when I checked my email. What I didn't find out until just recently when Kristi and I started talking again, was that her parents made her break up with me.

Well, I got my computer set up the way it should be and logged into Yahoo! Messenger. And after I was online for a few minutes she started messaging me. I haven't been able to keep her out of my head since.

As for news on the third season of Banter Over a Cigarette, I plan on starting the show within the first two weeks of March. I have a couple of bonus episodes that will be uploaded soon just to test the feed. I also plan on searching myspace for a bit to find a good song for this seasons intro. As always there will be updates on Mondays, and I'm fairly certain that we will be doing a St. Patricks day special. That's really all I can think about that requires an update.
Not dead

Well, I haven't made any sort of post in quite some time. I figure that I should seeing as I might not be making another post for quite some time.

Diane and I broke up a few weeks ago. She's moving back to Texas on the 12th of December. Next week.. I don't want to see any messages from anyone saying I should fix it. Or that things will get better. I've tried that so many times in the past month. I'm tired of trying and tired of crying. The plane tickets are already booked and there's no changing it now.

She's leaving and she's taking this computer with her, so I won't be online until my dad sends me a computer if he can, or until I can get a new one. Hopefully this can be accomplished in the next two weeks, otherwise the internet will be canceled.

I'm going to need to find a job. With the Diane and I leaving things are going to be a lot harder with me and my mom. Diane helped out a lot.

Today after my night class I went to McDonald's with one of my teachers from last semester and a girl I met today that was in his class. We hung out inside, and then we went out to smoke and had a snowball fight in the parking lot and then ended up hanging out around her van and were all talking until around one o' clock. It was pretty fun aside from the fact that by the time I was ready to go home I couldn't feel my feet. She's a rather interesting lady. She's going through a divorce and is kind of seeing somebody already so i don't know if it would be worth the effort, but as they say, there's thrill in the hunt.

That's about all that's happened to me in the last few weeks that's really worth interesting. I won't be online at all next week because Diane is packing up the router and shipping it to Texas and then she'll be taking the computer with her when she leaves. Of course seeing as I go for a couple of months without posting you probably wouldn't know the difference.

MREH!!!

Well I've been having fun with the Nintendo DS that I bought last weekend. Somehow I've already managed to amass six games for it. I've played four of them. I've committed to three of them, grown a fondness for one of them and I've become addicted to another one of them.

I went to The Pawn Store on Greencastle's town square on thursday and I bought "The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass" simply because of the fact that it was $15.00.

"But Eldon," I hear you say, "I thought you'd buy it simply because of the fact that it was a Zelda game."

The answer is in fact, close.

But you're way off.

I'm truly in love with the whole Zelda franchise. The first title debuted on the 8-bit NES was the first game I'd ever beaten as a child. I was around five or six I think. The second game I'd ever beaten was Pokemon Red. But that is neither here nor there.

I opted not to buy The Phantom Hourglass at first because a used copy had the same $30.00 price tag as any other brand new DS title in any game store. But when I went to The Pawn Store and saw it for half of what all game stores were asking I couldn't pass it up.

Likewise I could not pass up the same offer when I saw that they had a used copy of Pokemon: Pearl for $12.99.

So instead of getting home and tearing into Phantom Hourglass I tried Pokemon.. . .

That game card hasn't left the DS since I started playing it on Friday. Its a great game in the sense that all Pokemon games are. Well I haven't played the mystery dungeon spinoffs or the other games like that. I don't even know what they were about. Likewise I havne't played that one Pokemon game for the Gamecube.

But all the other games, you know, you're a kid, starting in this little town and some dude throws a Pokemon at you, and says, "Hit the road." For me it was always the water starter, simply for the fact that whoever is your rival in the game always picks whichever one your pokemon is weakest too. Which is why I never get to pick fire, or grass type. But if you pick the water type, he'll pick the grass type, And there really isn't a weakness there so much as a stalemate.

. . .

Wait a minute! Why the hell am I giving some sort of indepth pokemon strategy talk on my blog. . . .

Moving on. I really enjoy this game so far, hopefully when I finish it I'll move on to The Phantom Hourglass. But aside from Pokemon: Pearl, I have Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, and Contact that all use the Nintendo WFC.

So if there is anyone out there who has those games and feels like showing me how big of a noob I am, I'll give you that friend code thing as soon as I can figure out how to make my DS play nice with my fucking wireless router.

In other news a friend of mine recently got me into Magic: The Gathering. We went to a game shop in Carmel and he bought me a Lorwyn Elemental Path Theme Deck, and a Shadowmore Tournament Deck.

So if anyone wants to school me at a game of MTG you know where I am.

And in case anyone cares, I fucking want this game.

<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" ="" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0" id="gtembed" width="480" height="392">

I've got a cock like a donkey harder than a rock, and a trigger finger itchier than chicken pox

Damn, how many fucking times do I have to tell Xanga "Fuck no?" when it comes to this new home page thing? When I log in I like to see the same thing I've been seeing since I've signed up for the site about four years ago, I don't need no fancy fucking home page. At least when they first introduced it you had the option of clicking 'no thanks' and it would take you to the original homescreen for your blog. Now they don't even give you the option. When I log in it takes me to the "let me show you the new home page" screen that takes you to that new shitty home page. FUCK! They don't even give you a choice now. I've got to go to the xanga front page after logging in if I hit that screen and then to to my original homescreen from there. Anywho, enough bitching, moving on.

If you want to know what I've been up to lately go listen to the latest episode of BOaC. And maybe next weeks episode http://boacblogcast.wordpress.com.

thats about it.

Zombies, guitars,and pimped-out guns

Today I went to the house of a friend of mine in Indianapolis. Once we got there we discussed the rules and particular points of game play for "Rising", a live action horror strategy game. Also known as a LASH. Its a really nifty LARP about a zombie apocalypse. They are having a weekend long event in two weeks from now and I shall be attending. It all seems highly interesting. After all of this we played rock band for a while, and though I suck something epic at the drums I did moderately good on the guitar. After Rock Band we indulged in some co op on Army of Two. Its a pretty decent game. I doubt I'd get it for myself if I had an XBOX 360. I'd most likely consider playing it with someone else just for the story but I'm not that big of a fan of the gameplay, mainly because if I owned it I doubt that I'd have much success in finding a person to play it with. That and I find it hard to target enemy units because they look just like the nearby scenery until you get up close enough for them to shoot you in the ass. At least in my opinion.

That's about it for me. I'm contemplating whether or not I'd like to indugle in some Harvest Moon 64 or go to bed. Most likely the second choice.

On a side note, some how I've managed to get both my mother and the Girlfriend Lady sick. Does that mean that I win?

I'm starting to get over it. . . Sunday I went to Santa Claus, Indiana. Yes, that really is the name of the town. I went there because my mom was having a company picnic at Holiday World. Its an amusement park with a few roller coasters and a good sized water park. I went on a couple of roller coasters. One of them, called "The Voyage", must have been designed by either Satan, or a schizophrenic engineer. The first three-quarters of the ride is fine, all fun and dandy. But the last half of the ride is an utter nightmare. It twists and turns and jerks you around all over the place, I either pinched a nerve or threw something out of place in my shoulder on that ride. I thought I had whiplash. My kidneys were tied into a knot and my testicles traded place with my lungs. And as far as I can tell the only way that can benefit me is if I ever decide to use my dick as a snorkel. Then I went to the water park and went down a number of very entertaining water slides. That means that I had my sinus cavities bombarded by chlorinated water and who knows what else. With all those people at the park someone was bound to have pissed in the pool. Needless to say I woke up on Monday with a cold that still hasn't gone away yet. I thought it was clearing up but then I started sneezing and coughing again.

Saturday and Sunday I got pulled over. I was driving Ben to McDonald's and back Saturday night. On the way out of the parking lot someone honked at us because they thought I was a noob at driving. So Ben rolled down his window, climbed half way out of the window and flipped this person off. We almost crossed the highway when I saw the lights. The cop knocked on the passenger window where Ben was sitting and I thought Ben was going to wet himself because he thought that we got pulled over because of him. But as it turns out, he had pulled us over because the light that is supposed to illuminate my license plate had burned out. We got off with a warning.

Sunday I'm driving home from Holiday World because Diane had driven to Holiday World. We were all tired so I didn't want to ask Diane to drive. But then I started nodding off and falling asleep behind the wheel. So that's when I cranked up the AC, chugged the remainder of my soda, and blasted the radio. Apparantly my driving had caused many people to pull out their cell phones and call the local state police outpost. I got pulled over for swerving all around the road. I explained the situation to him, that nobody was drunk, we just had a busy day and I was a bit more tired than I thought I was. He let me off with a warning saying, "I know you pay taxes on both sides of the road, but you've got to stay on this side.", with that Diane and I switched seats. She drove home and I slept.

Today I woke up, had the buffet at Pizza Hut and went to my Math 044 class. Which I find easier to understand this semester simply because of the fact that I have a teacher this semester who is better at explaining the problems better than any other teacher I've had for math. After that Diane and I went to Terre Haute to the main campus of Ivy Tech to go straight to the source to figure out what was wrong with my financial aid. The problem was sorted out and I can now afford my tuition and books for this semester and the next. I win. We then bummed around the Honey Creek Mall a short distance away from the main campus. We then went home, and I worked on the BOaC Blog, and now here I am working on this one.

And in case anyone cares I just released episode 6 of season two of Banter Over a Cigarette. You should probably go listen to it, it's really neato.

You can subscribe to the show on iTunes or through email. It's all explained on the site. Go look at it.

I guess thats all for me today. I think I'm off to go play video games now.
